About the Run for Children’s Guild:


  1. The Run for Children's Guild is a group of volunteers dedicated to helping children in the Northwest by raising money for uncompensated care at Children's Hospital. The need for uncompensated care grows each year and is expected to exceed more than $100 million this year.  Of the 86,000 patients treated at Children’s each year, 65% need financial assistance. 


  3. Each year we organize an annual run/walk event to help raise money for uncompensated care. This is our second year combining efforts with The Covey Run.  In previous years our 5K run and walk was held at Sand Point Magnuson Park in Seattle. 


  5. Last year’s event was a huge success, raising over $90,000 for uncompensated care.  We are very excited about the event this year and hope to see you there!
